If you've had some tomato sauce sardines and have been underwhelmed (us to), have no fear - these are delicious. The 'tomato sauce" is actually a tomato chermoula - rich tomato sauce with lovely spices and just a hint of heat. These are great on a crusty bread as a sandwich.
