Some tins indicate how many items you can expect in the tin. This tin does that - between 20 and 25 small sardines are perfectly layered in this tin, glistening in olive oil. 

Fun fact - this was actually the tin that made us decided we had to feature tinned seafood along side our wine. We, of course, had sardines prior to making that decision. But we gathered up some tins and sat down to try them with our wines. When we opened this tin it was an 'ah ha' moment of what true, high quality, premium sardines meant.
