Garfish: crazy looking fish (seriously, we recommend you look them up), these are actually Needle Fish (and not related to true Gars which are fresh water fish). Needle fish make fantastic sardine -like fish. Firmer and meatier than true sardines. These are great 'starter' tinned fish for people who are a little grossed out by slimy (soft), fishy sardines (these guys are less fishy).

The olive oil in this tin is lightly infused chili bringing a bit of heat to the fish, but not over-whelming.
