In our search for yummy and unique chocolates we've stumbled upon Raaka, a Brooklyn based chocolate maker that doesn't roast their cocoa! Yeah, you read that right. Instead they steam it, age it in whiskey or wine barrels, or use a variety of methods to infuse the beans, hoping to enhance elements of the terrior of the beans.
This bar is dark chocolate, but not bitter-dark. Very slight hints of cardamom and rose round out the dark chocolate. A true treat and a delicious bar (also, extra hard to find since this is a seasonal flavor).
